Alex & Ryan's Norfolk Botanical Gardens Wedding

Alex & Ryan’s wedding at the magical Norfolk Botanical Gardens was beautiful! They had a big celebration of their love with a large bridal party with their best friends. When you have such a great venue like NBG, you don’t need much else because the natural beauty of the greenery and florals is enough.

Alex & Ryan chose a vegan menu, which is something we love to be challenged with! We pride ourselves on our vegan and plant based dishes we were happy to come up with a great menu for Alex & Ryan’s guests. The food portion of the wedding started with Cocktail Hour where 2 butlered appetizers were served: Filipino Style Vegetable Lumpia and Soba Noodle Cups. Next came the plated dinner service where guests enjoyed:

Black Bean Cakes (with roasted red pepper aioli)
Sweet Potato, Spinach, & Chickpea Curry (served over steamed white rice)
Roasted Broccoli Florets
Seasonal Vegetable Medley

Did you know that if your wedding as 150 guests or more, you receive a complementary 2nd bar when you have a full drink bar? We supply everything you could need, including experienced bar tenders. The evening ended with a GORGEOUS cake made by Carolina Cupcakery. Carolina Cupcakery is a FAB (Food Allergy Bakery). They are able to make cakes and treats free from the Top 8 major allergens.
